When FTVLive named our list of the Best News Directors in the country, WABC’s Chad Matthews was on that list.

But, he no longer is, because he is no longer a News Director.

ABC announced that Matthews has been bumped up to the General Manager of the No. 1 station in the No. 1 market.

Congrats to Chad and it was a great move by ABC.
