With so much false and misleading information being thrown about when it comes to COVID, Reporters should take every step to make sure that the information they are providing is solid.

Here’s an example from WTNH’s (Hartford)Samaia Hernandez:

This is a bit misleading as an at-home rapid test cannot tell you which variant you're infected with.

The rapid test is still thought to be able to tell you if you're negative or positive, even with Omicron. But, no at-home test and tell you the variant.

Please make sure that the information you are sending out to viewers is solid and correct.
