Back in October, FTVLive told you how CBS News Correspondent Mireya Villarreal posted to her social media about the Texas school shooting that happened yesterday. While standing at the scene she posted a video and included the text “Happy Wednesday” while talking about the latest shooting.

Not sure how “happy” it was for those kids involved in the shooting incident.

Anyway, after FTVLive posted the story, CBS decided to part ways with Villarreal and she has now landed at ABC News.

Word is that Villarreal was hired by ABC News boss Kim Godwin.

The two previously worked together at the Eye network.

Hopefully she will tone-down the social media posts a bit over at ABC.
