Back in October, Gray’s WKYT parted ways with longtime host DeAnn Stephens for her refusal to get the COVID vaccine.

Stephens had spent almost 3 decades in Lexington TV and hosted the show “Out and About” on WKYT.

Now, it appears that Stephens is getting ready to resurface across the street at Nexstar’s WDKY.

WDKY is promising to launch new newscasts starting in early January and it appears that Stephans is part of those plans.

WDKY Assistant News Director Miranda Combs posted a tweet that appeared to tip the station’s hand in the plans for Stephans.

Nexstar does not have a COVID mandate policy.
