FTVLive told you late last week that cuts were going down at the startup cable channel, Black News Channel. A memo went out to the staff informing them that a number of staffers would not be making it to the New Year.

Black News Channel has struggled since launching and looking at the numbers, it is really bad.

Look at the recent ratings posted by Cable Rankings and you see that the channel is pulling in just a few thousand viewers each day.

The fact that a national cable news channel is pulling in about the same number of people watching the newscast in Yuma isn’t good.
