You Could See This One Coming....

Former KXII (Sherman, TX) Anchor Dan Thomas was one of those that worked at a Gray TV station and refused to get the COVID vaccine as mandated by the company.

Thomas left the station in early October and he is now looking for a life after TV news.

For many that have spent years in TV news, they learn that after they leave the business, they really aren’t qualified for many other jobs out in the “real” world.

It seems that for a former TV news employee, they often head down 3 avenues after their time in TV.

Public Relations.

PR used to be the go to for any ex-TV newsie looking for a job outside of the boob tube.

Now, many ex-TV people make the move into real estate. Thanks to TV shows like Million Dollar Listings, former TV folks believe they can use their “celebrity” to make a killing selling houses.

The 3rd avenue seems to be the goto of late and that is the one that Dan Thomas is taking.

He figures because he had plastic hair, sat behind a plastic desk, in front of a plastic picture of the city skyline, he is qualified to run for Congress.

So, that’s what he’s doing.

“I built my entire career in journalism on telling the truth and fighting against government corruption,” said Thomas, a married father of two young children. “My decades of work to provide an unvarnished truth to the communities of North Texas was undone nearly overnight, all because of the government’s reckless, unscientific, and unconstitutional mandate for mass vaccination.”

Of course, he is using the COVID pandemic and the political football it has become to try and get elected.

He posted a YouTube video which only has gotten a couple of hundred views about how he will end the corruption in Washington.

Funny how all the politicians promise they will end the corruption and yet, according to them, it is still there.
