It appears that a couple of stations are trying to goose the ratings….

They are not relying on good solid journalism to bring in viewers. They are resorting to cold hard cash.

WFSB in Hartford is bribing the viewers with $1,000 bucks if they will watch the news.

WRIC in Richmond is coming in at $200 bucks less, offering viewers a chance to win $800 dollars if they watch the news. and can figure out the keyword.

WRIC is Channel 8, so, I’m guessing that is why they are offering up $800, instead of a grand?

If it was me, I would have made the amount $888.88.
