Be a Journalist
Over the weekend, a jury acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse of all charges in the trial over killing 2 in Kenosha.
While some applauded the verdict, others did not and felt justice wasn’t served.
But, as it has worked for hundreds of years, Rittenhouse was judged by a jury of his peers and that is how the system has worked in this country since it was founded.
While many are certainly entitled to their opinion of the verdict, you would hope that Journalists would be objective in not letting their personal feelings be known.
But, it seems that many Journalists these days continue to not understand their role as to being an “objective Journalist.”
Let’s look at two “Journalist” in the DC area.

No matter the verdict in any trail, a Journalist’s job is to report on the proceedings and the verdict and keep their personal opinion to themselves.
That’s the job you signed up for.
