Not The Strongest Resume
You would believe that to land a job as a Correspondent at a cable news station, you would have to have a pretty strong resume.
But, then again, maybe you don’t.
Nexstar’s News Nation has hired Kelsey Kernstine as a Correspondent based out of Chicago.
She comes from being a Traffic Anchor at KWTV in Oklahoma City.
Before that, according to her News Nation bio, she spent two years in Columbia, Missouri at KMIZ as an anchor and reporter covering tornadoes, flooding and Governor Eric Greitens’ resignation.
The NN bio did not bring up this incident.
Her LinkedIn bio claims that she spent nearly 4 years at KMIZ and a News Nation staffer tells FTVLive, they believe it was closer to a year at the station.
In fact, her Linked in bio has her still currently working at both KMIZ and KWTV.
But, we also found another resume of hers online and it might not surprise you.
So now, News Nation is hiring actresses I guess?
