KOAT did a story on the fact that the Albuquerque Police Department has lost a number of officers that have either retired or left the department.

In the story about the lack of cops the station wrote this on their website:

“Just shy”?

If you ask me, “just shy” would be having 1,089 cops out of the 1,100.

I would think that being down nearly 200 officers at the department is a bit more than “just shy.”

Just saying…..
