It Was Them
KSTP (Minneapolis) Reporter Jay Kolls thinks he knows who is responsible for the riot at the US Capitol.
It wasn’t Donald Trump, Fox News, QAnon or the white supremacists. His story named just one group….Antifa.
Kolls story cites Minneapolis-based security consultant Michael Rozin, who commented that there "were some rioters inside the U.S. Capitol who used symbols and had tattoos which seem to be aligned with the ANTIFA movement."
Kolls then repeated this assertion on the broadcast.
The expert that Kools used in his story took to Twitter to say that the Antifa information could be wrong and was trying to get the KSTP story corrected.
This isn’t the first time that Kolls has gone off half-cocked. Kolls has previously found himself under scrutiny when he reported a claim that former Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges had flashed a "gang sign" in a picture.
