It was sad news when word came down that multi-award winning actress Cloris Leachman passed away this week.

Leachman was the most nominated and most awarded actress in Emmy history.

Truly a legend in the business.

But, if you tuned into WJXT here in Jacksonville, FL, you would have learned that it wasn’t Cloris Leachman that died, but someone named “Doris Leachman.”

The Graham station spent the newscast paying tribute to “Doris Leachman”
