The first presidential debate is happening tonight and there are those that think it will be the most-watched political event of all time.

The most-watched debate was back in 2016, where 84 million people watched the first debate between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Obviously this debate will get a boost from the pandemic and more people being stuck inside.

But will it break the record?

I have no clue, but I can tell you that I won’t be watching it.

My thought is that 99.9% of Americans already know who they are voting for in this election, this debate will not change that.

If people tune in, it is likely to watch for entertainment reasons. Can Joe Biden string a sentence together? Will Donald Trump blow a gasket live on the air? How many lies can Trump fit in one debate?

Look, I live in Florida if I want to watch a couple of old white guys yell at each other like some 3rd graders, I can just go to Publix.

I have no interest in this debate. We’ll see what the rest of the country thinks when the numbers come out on Wednesday.
