Numerous sources tell FTVLive that layoffs are going down at a number of Meredith stations.

Pink slips have been flying at WFSB (Hartford), KCTV in Kansas City and WHNS in Greenville.

Meredith has been cashed strapped and is now in the process of trying to make themselves more attractive for a sale.

The cuts at WHNS included  longtime morning Reporter Joe Gagnon.
