Reporter Arrested in LA

Yesterday, FTVLive told you how four LA County Deputies took down a Reporter trying to cover the story of officers shot.

Four cops took KPCC NPR Radio Reporter Josie Huang to the ground, injuring her while doing so and then cuffing her.

Her Editor at the station, Megan Garvey went to the Sheriff’s office in the middle of the night to monitor the situation.

She continued to update the situation on Twitter:

Props to Garvey for showing the concern for one of her staff and we are happy to see Huang is out of jail.

Yes, this was a stressful situation for the deputies, having two of their officers shot. But arresting a Journalist that was doing her job is unacceptable.

Taking four officers to take her to the ground and cuff her was even more so.
