KTTV the Fox O&O in LA announced that former CNN and then HLN Anchor Michaela Pereira will be joining the "Good Day LA" morning news team beginning in October.

Pereira was one of the trio brought into CNN by Jeff Zucker from crosstown LA station KTLA to help host Zucker’s revamped morning show.

The show failed and Pereira was shipped off to HLH to host “MichaeLA” before leaving the network altogether.

She now returns to local TV at The Firm’s station.
