COVID in Boston

The staff at WFXT the Cox station in Boston were notified recently that one of the station’s employees tested positive for the rona.

Then a Tuesday there was a major internet outage in the Boston area and it impacted the station and people working at the station.

WFXT News Director Sarh Burgess notified the staff that they may have to come into the studio to get their stories on the air. Much of the staff has been working remotely.

Insiders tell FTVLive that a number of staffers were not happy having to come into the office and especially after someone at the station had recently tested positive for the virus.

“This place has been great about COVID policies on paper but their actions have been asking for an outbreak,” said one station insider to FTVLive.
