It appears that KYTX (Tyler, TX) Meteorologist Joel Barnes got into it with a viewer on Facebook and the viewer sent an email to the Tegna station with what Barnes said.

FTVLive obtained a copy of the email sent to the Texas station:

I don’t disagree with Barnes and his take on masks, but how does he know that Brent Stephens has sex with prostitutes?

Also, should the weather guy be saying that?

As Joel Barnes says, wear a mask and I guess if you’re doing a prostitute, a condom is wise as well (even if he did spell it wrong).
