You see it happen often….

Someone posts video to social media and TV stations and networks are like sharks smelling blood In the water.

They reach out to the person and try to get them to give up their video/picture for free.

Hurricane chaser Josh Morgerman posted this video to Twitter:

It wasn’t long before Erin Calabrese, who is a “Visual Verification Producer” for ABC News which is owned by Disney, which makes billions of dollars reached out to Morgerman to give up his video for free.

She attached an agreement from ABC News which states in part:

“You understand that you will receive no payment or royalty for any use under this agreement; that ABC is under no obligation to use, edit or distribute the material; and that you have no right to inspect or approve any use of the material.”

Morgerman basically told the ABC Visual Verification Producer to stuff it:
