Hurricane Laura has turned into a monster and is smashing into Lake Charles, LA.

Gray’s KPLC in Lake Charles evacuated the station yesterday and stopped coverage from their studio. The station has handed off coverage to sister station WAFB in Baton Rouge.

Get the video, tell the story and there is absolutely no reason to stand out in the middle of this monster storm and shoot a stand up.

I know I say that each and every time there is a hurricane and I know that there will still be a number of you that do it.

Viewers can see the wind, the rain, and the destruction by watching the video. You standing in the storm, screaming, and getting soaked really doesn’t add anything to the story.

That said, you are still going to do it.
