We are in a time where people that are working in TV news need to make sure what they are reporting and posting is accurate and not misinformation.

WFLD (Chicago) morning Meteorologist Mark Strehl posted this about the kids going back to school at the Illinois State University

Clearly it seems from Strehl’s post that these kids are not taking the pandemic seriously and this reflects very badly on the school as well.

But, one viewer wanted to make sure that this was a recent picture and asked Strehl when it was taken. Strehl doubled-down and said that the pic was taken this past Saturday.

Which is odd, because the photo looks very much like this picture that was taken back in 2018:

It appears that Strehl later deleted the picture and made no mention of his previous post that shined a bad light on the school and the kids that are attending ISU
