We were scratching our head a bit when we saw this post from KPHO/KTVK Digital Managing Editor Rudy Rivas for a job opening at the Meredith owned station.

According to this internal memo sent to the staff from Meredith CEO Tom Harty sent 5 days ago, the company is still under a hiring freeze.

So, are the rules different for the Meredith station in Phoenix?
