Reporter Likely Got the Rona at Trump Rally
We are about a month away from news crews coming here to Jacksonville for the Republican National Convention and some are worried about that.
A Journalist who attended President Donald Trump’s rally in Tulsa said he has tested positive for COVID-19 and experts think he got the virus at the event.
Oklahoma Watch Reporter Paul Monies said he was notified Friday, he posted this to Twitter:
Journalists being assigned to the GOP convention are worried about this happening to them.
“I’m assigned to cover the convention, where it is likely many will not be wearing masks and basically think that COVID is nothing,” said one Reporter that is slated to come to Jax.
Doctors in the area are urging Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to not let the convention not come here to Florida, but those requests are falling on deaf ears.
Residents in the area are mixed with some welcoming the GOP and others wishing they would stay the hell away.
