Back to Work for Nexstar Employees
Some employees at a small Nexstar station in Louisiana are not happy about having to return to the station.
An insider tells us that on Monday after Louisiana lifted the stay at home order, all employees, non-essential or not, returned to the station from working remotely.
One station employee says of management, “There seems to be a mentality that if we’re not in the building we’re not working.”
The employee tells FTVLive that most of the news people they have talked to “rather stayed working from home with their own equipment instead of returning to sharing equipment in a pool with everyone.”
The station is small and lacks equipment and therefore many have to pass it around to do their job.
“In my personal opinion, corporate hasn’t been the most helpful providing guidance for stations to navigate the pandemic,” said an employee to FTVLive.
The station has also posted a flyer around the building this week and it was obtained by FTVLive:
