Something has gone down with the social media of KTTV (LA) morning Anchor Araksya Karapetyan.

Yesterday, if you stopped by her Twitter, you were met with this screen:

This morning if you tried to load Karapetyan’s Twitter, you get this:

Her Facebook page is also gone, yet her Instagram is still up and running.

Her bio is on KTTV’s website and it appears that she is still with the station. But, why has two of her social media pages gone dark?

A little snooping around and it gets more confusing. There is this tweet from someone claiming that Karapetyan posted a manipulated map of Armenia.

I guess it should be pointed out that Karapetyan is Armenian.

Then there is this post from a woman demanding that Twitter and Facebook bring Karapetyan’s account back. The woman also demands that her IG be brought back as well, but looking this morning, it appears to be there.

Facebook owns Instagram.

So, what happened?

At this point we have no clue. Karapetyan’s last post as of this writing was 8 hours ago to her Instagram and it was part of the black and white photo challenge that you have likely seen on your timeline.

But, a week ago, Karapetyan posted this video of a package that she did on KTTV. This package included the map that the one person posted about above.

Does this play into the fact that her social media accounts are now gone?

Quite honestly, we have no clue.
