Each time that a TV station and a cable or satellite company get into a fight over retransmission dollars, it is the viewer that ends up paying.

Stations continue their greed and demand more money from the cable/satellite companies to carry their channel.

Guess who pays for these companies greedy ways?

Yep, it’s you and I that have to foot the ball.

Spectrum announced that starting next month that will be raising their cable bill a few more bucks. AT&T also is jacking up the price of DirecTV another $10 to new customers.

TV stations look at retrans as the golden goose and continue to ask for more and more money from providers, who pass the cost onto their customers.

As stations continue to do this, more and more people are saying screw it, cutting the cord and going to Netflix or the other streaming services.

The golden goose is gasping for air and the TV stations just don’t care and keep demanding more money.
