It seems to be a Summer staple for TV news.

As the temps rise, TV stations often do stories about not leaving your children, or your pets in the car.

Well, it seems that WKNY (Bowling Green, Kentucky) is one of those stations that does what other stations warn not to do.

A viewer posted a video of a marked station car parked at a Home Depot with a dog locked inside with the windows barely cracked.

What the Fuck?!

The viewer that posted the video said it was 91 degrees and the van was not running.

One source tells FTVLive that it was the station’s dog Soky that was locked in the hot car.

Here is the video. It appears a police officer did show up but ended up leaving after talking to the station employee.

I only wish that he arrested the idiot and took care of the dog.
