According to Oklahoma Congressman Markwayne Mullin, the national media is responsible for two Tulsa police officers being shot and one of the officers being killed.

We have a President that calls the media “the enemy of the people” and now we have a Congressman blaming the media for the shooting of two police officers.

Here is the suspect in the officers shooting, tell me if he looks like a guy that is tuning in to the evening newscasts each night?

Maybe, just maybe that this guy’s easy access to a gun is to blame, and since you as a Congressman continue to turn your back on gun violence, hmmmmm? Who are we blaming?

When some idiot takes a shot at the media, tell me, Congressman Mullin, will their blood be on your hands?

In my first full-time job in TV news, I lived with two Tulsa Police officers and they were two of my best friends. My heart goes out to the officers and their families.

As for Congressman Markwayne Mullin, I know the “cool” thing is to blame the media and I’m sure It will score you some points with Trump, but please do me a favor. The next time you are are some event or holding some fundraiser, don’t have your office calling the media to try and get them to come out and cover you.

The media is just doing their job, maybe it is time you do yours.
