Scripps has done one of the better jobs of keeping employees informed on what was happening and what the company is doing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The staff has gotten regular updates from CEO Adam Symson and also found out that Symson had their back.

When the company reported their earnings to shareholders, there was one analyst that thought that maybe Scripps should use the pandemic as a good excuse to cut their staff back a bit. Symson shot down the analyst and said that there were no plans to do so.

Scripps, under Symson has handled the pandemic and the financial repercussions about as well as can be expected. The company continues to act more like a Journalism company and less about trying to print money.
