Coming in at No. 4 on our list of the worst TV ownership group through the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests is NBC.

While the NBC O&O’s made great strides over the years to become one of the better groups to work for, it seemed they showed their true colors when times got tough.

NBC used the coronavirus pandemic as a chance to layoff staff and that is such a shame.

There is no doubt that the local NBC stations had more than enough money to make it through the pandemic, they decided to almost use it as an excuse to trim their staff. The idea that you are putting people out of work when it was almost impossible for them to find work, shows you just how callus these moves were.

You would have expected better out of NBC, but it didn’t happen.

It is so easy to look like a great company when the money is rolling in, but when times are tough, that’s when we see how you really are. We were so disappointed to see NBC go this way.
