This is like watching a yoyo…

On April 24th, FTVLive told you how WGCL (Atlanta) Anchor Shon Gables was anchoring the station’s newscasts from home.

We wrote, it seems that Gables doesn't feel safe coming into the station to do the newscast in the studio and has been homecasting from her house. OK, we get that, but if she doesn’t feel safe to come into WGCL to do the newscasts, how was she ok coming into the same station to anchor the CBS Evening News last weekend? Not only that, but she brought along a makeup artist as well.

Then after our story, Gables showed back up behind the WGCL anchor desk and was back working in the station.

But now, according to insiders, Gables is back working from home (photo)

This back and forth makes no sense from a health standpoint. The idea of working from home is so you don’t bring the spread of the virus to the station. By coming and going to the station, you are putting those that are inside the station at risk.

The back and forth is not how social distancing works.
