While CBS is sacking hundreds of people, I have not seen the story reported on CBS or their O&O’s.

While watching some of the CBS stations around the country, I have seen them do stories on companies that are laying off people. I have watched as they covered people that have lost their job and are trying to figure out what they will do next?

Yet, I have not seen the CBS stations cover the fact that their own station laid off a dozen or more people.

All too often it seems that the media is so good at covering other’s story, but when it comes to bad news about them, they clam up.

The company scrubs the Talent’s bio off the website seconds after letting them go. One minute they are there, the next gone, and not a single word from CBS.

CBS, you preach transparency, maybe you should try it.
