When it comes to News Anchors showing off their Emmys to make up for other shortcomings on their homecasting sets, there is one Anchor that completely nailed it.

WDJT’s (Milwaukee) Mike Curkov was anchoring the news from his home and was asked about the little figurine behind him.

Curkov replied, “I’m not good enough to win an Emmy, so I made my own out of legos.”

That right there should win this guy an Emmy.

He also used the term “homecasting” which is a term that FTVLive coined as we talked about people in their homemade studios.

So, not only was Curkov dropping the mic on TV people and their Emmys, he is clearly an FTVLive reader and that makes him, FTVLive’s Hero of the Week!
