The GM at KRDO (Colorado Springs) is telling the staff that they are on their own when it comes to facemasks.

The CDC is now recommending that everyone should wear a mask when out in public. Many of the news staff are required to venture into the public to report the news, but General Manager Mark Pimintel says that they are on their own when it comes to masks.

Pimintel says that the station ordered masks, but that FEMA took their supply and now the staff Is on their own.

Finding masks is hard, but it is not impossible and you will be paying a premium price to get them. But, if you are asking your staff to go into the field, you should protect them and not just leave them on their own.
