Tusla Station Shutdown After Positive Test

Sources tell FTVLive that Griffin owned KOTV in Tulsa was evacuated and a cleaning crew was brought in after an engineer tested positive for Coronavirus.

The building was closed to all staff on Saturday and the 9pm Saturday newscast was cancelled. Both the 6 and 10pm newscasts were simulcast along with KWTV in Oklahoma City.

Insiders tell FTVLive that today’s morning newscast will also come from KWTV.

In the meantime, the building will be cleaned and they expect to resume regular newscasts from the building on Sunday night.

Sources tell FTVLIve that the engineer said he was in the engineering office, Master Control and the transmitter site, but never in the newsroom. Still, cleaning will be done throughout the building.

Most news people have been working remotely for the past couple of weeks.
