NBC News Chairman Andy Lack wrote a piece on the network’s website that was titled, “Journalism is under attack from coronavirus and the White House. But we're winning.”

Lack wrote about how Journalists have been doing their job while Donald Trump continues his attacks on the profession.

Lack writes, “Reporters have been on this story from the start, tracking the spread of the coronavirus without fear or favor, faithfully doing their jobs even — and especially — in this perilous time. Every day, with every story, they try to find what is most relevant to the public and relentlessly work to uncover the essence of what it means.”

We agree with much of what he wrote, but when his own employee Ronan Farrow was on the Harvey Weinstein “from the start” and “tracking the spread,” Lack did all he could to get Farrow off the story.

It’s great that Lack wants to stick up for Journalists and the job that they do, but where was he when his own employee was trying to break the Weinstein case wide open?

I’m sorry, but Andy Lack is one of the last people that should be standing up for Journalists.
