A news van from Meredith’s WGCL (Atlanta) was stolen earlier this morning with a Reporter still inside.

The thief only made it a short distance, before crashing the news vehicle. WGCL says a woman was arrested at the scene of the crash.

Sources tell FTVLive that the Reporter involved was Iyani Hughes. She joined the station in May of last year.

Traffic is backed up near the scene of the crash.
