Yesterday, FTVLive wrote that KTVK (Phoenix) Anchor Tara Hitchcock wants you to know that she ponied up a few hundred bucks to win a couple of the thousands and thousands of Emmys that are handed out each year.

She talked about her Emmys on air and her excuse is that they were always there, although she admits to moving some family photos in the shot.

OK, they were “always there,” are they nailed down and can not be moved? How about the camera that you are shooting on, was it “always there”? Or can it be moved to another location that doesn’t show your participation trophies?

She joked that she is showing off her Emmys, in case she needs to find a new job in the future.

We have news for you Tara, none of the good News Directors that we know, could give two shits about how many Emmys you have.

Maybe this News Director cares (especially if you can him win one), but not any of the good ones do.
