Right now, people are turning to the media to get the information they need to stay safe as the global pandemic hits the UNited States hard.

But, Donald Trump looks at this as another time to attack the media and again try to get people to not trust the media.

First off, Trump has resorted to calling the media now the “Lamestream” media which was a term coined by Sarah Palin. Really, is that the road he wants to go down?

It should also be pointed out that for years, Trump would call members of the media using the fake name “John Barron” and giving them information. He would ask that his name not be used, so in other words he was a source and he was making up John Barron.

99.99999% of real media people do NOT make up sources and never have or never will. When that very rare case of someone using a fake source has been found, the Reporters have been fired.

The media MUST use sources to cover the story. Trump wants the media to name the sources inside his administration. If they did that, how long do you think those people would be employed by Trump.

Trump really needs to back off while we are in this pandemic.

Then again, we all know that is not going to happen.

BTW- When Trump signed the stimulus bill in the oval office he handed the pen that he signed the bill with directly to Mitch McConnell as everyone else gathered in for the signing.

So much for social distancing and not sharing pens and such.
