There are still people that I know that are posting on social media, downplaying the coronavirus and acting as if it is similar to the flu.

It’s not, it’s 10 times more deadly and the people that continue to post this shit, are making it hard for everyone else that is doing their part to try and stop the spread.

Maryalice Demler is a main Anchor at Tegna’s WGRZ in Buffalo and she was one of those that did not think that the coronavirus was that big of a deal.

But, she has since changed her tune.

During a newscast this week, Demler admitted to her co-anchor Michael Wooten that she was “one of the early deniers” of the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic and originally thought it was much ado about nothing.

She added she was “so terribly wrong.”

Props to her for admitting she was wrong.

Maybe next time, try listening to the experts and not Trump and the other politicians.
