Now It's NBC's Turn
When the NCAA decided to scrap March Madness it cost CBS and their stations millions of dollars in advertising. Same thing when Augusta National pulled the plug on The Masters.
But the money lost by CBS will seem like small changed compared to what NBC is losing with The Olympics being canceled.
The losses will go over a billion dollars for NBC and their stations.
Top that off with the parent company closing Universal Studios and you can just imagine the economic impact that this is having.
TV stations across the country are watching advertising dry up and right now there is not an end in sight.
But, losing the Olympics is a hit that will be felt across the Comcast food chain.
