Yesterday, FTVLive FIRST told you that KVUE (Austin) Chief Meteorologist Albert Ramon is going to be leaving the station.

We told you he would be leaving in May for parts unknown.

Well, now we know.

Sources tell FTVLive that Ramon is signing off from the Tegna station on May 20th and he will be headed to the Nexstar nation.

Word is that Ramon will be joining Nexstar’s national newscast which is going to be produced out of Chicago and aired on WGN America.

Nexstar has not yet announced the hire, but they will.
