Well, it’s happened again….

KUTV Anchor Shauna Lake who was arrested and plead guilty to driving drunk back in 2017, has been busted again over the weekend.

Lake was arrested early Saturday at the Salt Lake City International Airport. she was issued a citation, she was released to another party who was able to drive. She was not booked in jail this time.

Salt Lake Police say Lake was parked in the passenger pickup area, when something drew the attention of an airport worker.

Salt Lake police were called to check Lake for possibly being intoxicated, he said. Lake refused DUI tests and a warrant was obtained to draw her blood, Horrocks said.

The results of those tests were pending on Monday.

After her arrest in 207, Lake’s attorney at that time, Jim Bradshaw, called her arrest “a wake up,” and said that she had since completed an intensive outpatient treatment program.

Lake later made a tearful on-air apology to viewers. “I drank alcohol after I got off work and then I chose to get behind the wheel of my car,” she said at the time. “I’m ashamed and humiliated by my decision. It was selfish. I could have hurt someone else or myself. ... “What I did was wrong, and I just hope that over time, night by night, you can learn to trust me again.”

KUTV News Director Mike Garber on Monday said he could not comment on employee personnel matters.

Of course, they don’t.
