A couple of days FTVLive told you that KDVR/KWGN (Denver) Producer Sarah DuPont posted on social media that she thought that she had the coronavirus.

While she posted the tweet, many in the Nexstar station did not know about it until seeing the story on FTVLive.

A number of newsroom employees were concerned and were asking why management had not addressed this?

After our story, DuPont deleted her original tweet and posted this:

Station insiders believe that management encouraged DuPont to pull the tweets in which she said that she was “pretty sure” she had the virus.

If only getting rid of the coronavirus was as easy as deleting a tweet.
