What is going on at these Nexstar stations?

Yesterday in a Patron Only story we told you how one LA Anchor is pimping products after her bosses told the staff that this was a no-no.

Now, Sam Boik the Traffic Anchor at Nexstar’s KDVR (Denver) seems to be trying to talk Fiat into giving her a new car.

Boik, replied to a Fiat tweet and it didn’t end there:

Then her followers were pushing Fiat to give her a car, which Boik was all for:

Not sure how the other auto dealers that buy ads on the station feel about Boik giving Fiat free advertising on her station branded account, but I might be asking the station for some of my money back.

There is also no doubt that Nexstar has a number of stations that blur the news lines and that really isn’t cool.
