KMIZ (Columbia, Missouri) Anchor/Reporter Ashley Strohmier is leaving the cornfields for the Big Apple.

Fox News announced that they have hired Strohmier as an overnight anchor and correspondent.

Since 2013, Strohmier served as a general assignment reporter and anchor at KMIZ covering crime as well as state and local politics.

In the Fox News release, they say that throughout her tenure with the KMIZ, she also held additional titles, including as solo anchor for News This Morning, which she also produced, anchored and managed its daily content.

I don’t know about you, but I think someone is about to see what culture shock is….
