LA Stations Told to Pay Up for Kobe Memorial
The LA Lakers are having a public memorial for their former star player Kobe Bryant.
The media is told if they want to broadcast the memorial, they will need to pay up to do so.
In a release sent to the media and obtained by TMZ, it says in part, “Representatives of television, radio and streaming networks interested in licensing the one-time ability to broadcast the Celebration of Life for Kobe & Gianna Bryant, live on February 24th can receive information by contacting: aj.ponsiglione@charter.com.”
While the public is invited to the memorial, the media will be housed across the street from the Staples Center.
Also, reading the press release about ticket prices for fans is a bit confusing to they least. Is $242 bucks or $24.02 bucks?
