Donald Trump took time away from golfing and tweeting to head to Valdosta, Georgia to try and help the GOP keep control of the Senate.

While the media was there to cover the lame-duck President’s arrival, a number of Trump supporters decided once again to verbally attack the people in the press, just for doing their job.

But, what was different this time, many of the attacks were levied against Fox News.

“Fox News does not call the election….” screamed one Trumpet to the Fox News crew. This is despite the fact that Fox News did not “call the election.” Fox News projected who won each state and their projection was correct.

Basically, you had a crowd of people that stopped using their own critical thought a long time ago and decided to let others (i.e Fox News) do the thinking for them.

Now, they're upset because their favorite network won't feed them the lies that they want to hear and they have started listening to Trump, or Newsmax, or some other right-wing outlet that has told them Fox News is now bad.

Despite the fact that there are still people at Fox News like Sean Hannity and others that are still peddling the lie that the election was rigged.

It was not.

Physical and verbal attacks against the media have rapidly grown under a President that wanted the press to only cover him in a good light, never question him, and never look into his actions. Despite the fact that controlling the press is the act of dictators, for now, we are still living in a democracy.
