I like people that make predictions, but it is more impressive when they can back it up. Think Joe Namath at the 1969 Super Bowl.

Then there are those predictions that are so far out there, you wonder what the person was smoking.

Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy has made an off-the-wall prediction about his rivalry with Fox News: "We'll probably overtake them in the next six months in total audience," he told Newsweek.

The highest rated show on Newsmax is drawing around 100,00o viewers and it is a single show.

Fox News has shows drawing over 4 million viewers.

Chris Ruddy can say that his network will pass Fox News inside 6 months, but I think there is a better chance of seeing Sean Hannity at a Black Lives Matter rally than this happening.

I think someone might have had a bit too much eggnog.
