The Georgia run-off election is still a couple of weeks away, but already the two hotly contested Senate races have fueled nearly $500 million in advertising spending.

TV stations across the state are seeing huge dollars coming in.

If you don’t think this is solely about ego and power, look at it this way.

When it is all said and done, these campaigns will have spent well over half a billion dollars, for a job as a United States Senator that pays $174,000.

It seems completely out of whack, but even at $174,000 bucks, a Senator is still making more than $140,000 dollars more than the average MMJ.
